Ladies and Gentlemen,
Sports in China has a long history. In the Song Dynasty, there was a game called "Cuju", which is the origin of ancient football. After a long history of 732 years, I believe that today's Chinese sports are already very powerful.
The Universiade is known as the "Little Olympics". The 31st National Games will be held in Chengdu on June 26, 2022.
The main body of the emblem of the Chengdu Universiade is based on the English initials "U" corresponding to the Universiade, combined with the sun bird, one of the symbolic elements of Tianfu culture. The emblem consists of four gradient color blocks of emerald green, bright red, bright yellow and lake blue, which correspond to the Chengdu Universiade's concept of green, wisdom, vitality and sharing, and are in line with the logo elements of the International Sports Federation.
The concise and powerful sentence "Chengdu Makes Dreams Come True" is the slogan of the 2022 Chengdu Universiade. The holding of the Universiade will help Chengdu to enhance the city's popularity and reputation, attract more investment and tourism, create a sustainable event city, refresh the new image of Chengdu, and promote urban construction.
