上午好,很高兴能有这样一个机会,能和大家进行面对面的交流。我是本班的英语老师,我姓刘。下面我就我们英语学习方面简单的说一下:
在英语课堂上,大部分学生都能很活跃的回答老师提出的问题,积极跟着老师读单词,读课文。其实这也制造了一种假象,学生认为自己常常被老师提问,认为自己能够回答老师的问题,于是认为自己的英语学得很不错,自我感觉特别好。于是下课后在英语上花的时间就少了。其实要学好英语,课上占40%,其余的60%还需要学生在课后不断的巩固,加深记忆。在课上老师更多的是教授新知识,当然课上也会有少量的时间巩固新学的知识。但是这些时间是公共的时间,而不是每个学生私有的时间,所以不可能照顾到每个学生,不可能让所有学生都达到相同的程度。况且每个学生对新知识得接受能力都是不同的,有的可能当堂就已经有很深的印象,很难忘记,但这肯定是很少的。大部分学生都只能是初步接触了新知识,要真正接受新知识还要学生在课后多下功夫,不然肯定会和别的同学拉下差距。
那么在课后学生到底该怎么做才能把其余的60%补回来呢?学好英语,不外乎就是在听、说、读、写这些方面下功夫。
首先说一下听,每个学生都有和书相配套的磁带,可是请各位家长检查一下自己的子女的英语磁带,有多少学生的磁带还是和刚发的时候一样的,根本就没有听过。光靠上课听一点点的磁带,学生的听力根本就不能有什么发展。不会听就不能说,不能说英语就白学了。每上完一次课,我都叫学生回家要跟磁带读,可是有多少学生真地做到了呢?所读的知识已经学过了,跟录音机读应该是提高自己的听力和口语表达能
力,要学生尽力地去模仿录音机里的发音,从而使自己的听力和口语都提高一个层次。 接下来是说,英语学了就是要说,要和别人交流。在课上我会用各种方法来刺激学生,激发他们说英语的积极性,大多数学生也确实做得很好。可是班级里人多,对每个人来说,说的机会就少。所以下课也要说,放学回家也要说。在学校,我鼓励学生把所学的英语对话运用到生活中去,这样有更真实的情景,更能让学生有发挥的余地。在家里,希望家长也能鼓励学生说英语,也许你会说你自己也听不懂,请不要这样想,其实学生需要是你的鼓励,你听了他们说的只要简单表扬一句,他们就会很满足了。有时候你们也可以不懂装懂,或者还可以让学生反过来教你,他们会觉得很自豪,因为自己所学得派上了用场。
接下来是读。学英语要培养语感,也就是语言的感觉,如果有很好的语感,那么不管是说话,做题目,都很轻松,很简单了。那么语感怎么来呢?就是靠读出来的。一定要让学生养成每天读英语的习惯。如果你的子女还没有养成这样的学习习惯,请你一定要督促他,刚开始也许会比较难,时间久了,就会习惯成自然。就像早上起来要刷牙洗脸一样,要让他们把读英语当作每天必做的一件事。
最后是写。五年级英语已经对学生有一定的书写要求。背单词是学英语的必经之路。单词往往背过就容易会忘记,所以要不断的背,不断的翻新,这是没有办法的。我要
求学生在背单词的时候要边拼边写,嘴巴和手都要动起来,嘴上十遍不如手上一遍。还有句型,五年级所接触的巨型都是很简单的日常用语。学生应该在课上领会句型的意思和运用方法。可后还需要通过多读课文,多练习才能巩固所学的句型。所以请各位家长不光要注重孩子背单词的情况,还要让他重视句子的重要性。
总而言之,请各位家长多关注孩子们的英语学习,让孩子养成良好的英语学习习惯。家长的重视会让学生增加信心,提高学生的学习积极性。与其在期末时看到大家都不愿看到的不理想的分数,还不如在平时就多关心孩子学习的过程。还希望家校携手共同提高孩子们的英语学习水平。我要讲的就是这些,祝愿各位家长身体健康、万事如意。
