The sports meeting was held in our school on the morning of May 10th. All the teachers and students were excited about the meeting.
At 8 o'clock sharp, the opening ceremony began. The whole school sang the national anthem. Then the headmaster made a speech and declared the meeting opened.
The sports meeting was divided into two parts. The first part was the track and field events, including the 100-meter race, the long jump, the high jump, the javelin throw, the shot put and so on. The second part was the team events including basketball, volleyball, tug-of-war and so on.
The sports meeting was a great success. Everyone took part in the activities with great enthusiasm. At the end of the meeting, the headmaster presented the prizes to the winners.

5月10日上午，我们学校举行了运动会，所有的老师和学生都对此次会议感到兴奋。
8点整，开幕式开始了。全校学生唱起了国歌。然后校长发表讲话，宣布会议开幕。
运动会分为两部分。第一部分是田径项目，包括100米赛跑、跳远、跳高、掷标枪、投掷等。第二部分是团队比赛，包括篮球、排球、拔河等。
运动会取得了圆满成功。每个人都热情地参加了活动。会议结束时，校长向获胜者颁发了奖品。
