大学生三分钟英语演讲稿关于社区服务
It is my great honor to be here to give the speech. During the winter vacation the students in our class joined in a meaningful activity, in which all of us did our bit for community.
Firstly we visited an elderly lady at her home. We chatted with her as well as helping her to do the housework, such as sweeping the floor, cleaning the table and the windows. Seeing the big smile on her face we felt proud of ourselves. Then we went outside to clean the sports facilities. Although it was freezing cold we all spared no effort with the purpose of creating a better environment for the residents living in the community. After that we picked up the rubbish lying on the ground. What’s more we sorted them out to reuse and recycle conveniently later. Finally we decorated the billboard with some posters with the characters Happy Chinese New Year and Fu on it. The community was full of happiness.
We were excited as a volunteer. Not only did we make our community more beautiful, but we also experienced the honor of working. Only when everyone tries to do something helpful can we build a harmonious society.
