When I was in the primary, school is very easy for me in the beginning. In my eyes all the things I have to do every day is ---show up for school, finish the homework, take tests, get grades. And I always got A’s. I thought school was that easy.
Suddenly middle school began, everything has changed, because the students in our school are most the top ones, if I don’t try my best to study, I am sure to fall behind the others, when I was the teachers’ pet in the primary school, but now…... Sure, I was a top student for six years, why would it be any harder? It was; the bad mark in a sudden exam deeply hurt me. I became very sad and angry about my situation. I felt so depressed, for a long time I even though I want to give up. I couldn’t do my homework, couldn’t listen to the teachers in class, I was lost.
For some time I did badly in all my lessons. My parents, my teachers talked to me heart to heart.
One winter day we had a heavy snow. Mother took me for a long walk. “See those elm trees,” she said. “ The branches are broken. The trees may die. But look at those pine trees! They are not hurt by the snow.” “When they have more snow than they can hold, they lower the branches and let the snow slip away. The next morning they are as good as ever.”
“There are just two kinds of trees in the world: the stubborn and the wise. Be like a pine tree. Bear what you can, try your best to do every thing, then let the load slide off. You will move forward lightly.”
After hearing these words, as if a sudden bright sunshine shines on my broken heart, yes, only one way to face difficulty is to face it, overcome it, not to cry or feel sorry about it. All I have to do is put all hearts to study. Look at everything with a big smile.
Yes, “Be like a pine tree. Bear what you can! ” Shake off resentment, anger and depression. We will have a bright future.
2. My First English Teacher

Dear friends! Do you still remember your first English teacher? You may say:” Yes.” Everyone has his teachers, in my mind, I’ll never forget her---my first English teacher Ms. Li. Without her, I wouldn’t be standing here. She is a young and lovely lady with beautiful eyes. Her voice sounds sweet and she speaks English very well. That was the first impression she left on us when she first gave us an English lesson.
In her class, she taught us carefully and patiently. She has a strange way of making her class lively and interesting. She always made opportunities for us to speak English. She gave us many beautiful pictures to talk on them, played games with us and told us many interesting stories. She made us learn from games. We learned English with great fun. After class she helped the students who had trouble in learning English.
Little by little, I had interest in English, but English was a new subject to me, I had many difficulties in learning it well. I often felt very confused. Even though I wanted to give up learning English. It was Ms. Li who helped me to find ways to overcome my difficulties. She helped me to practice speaking English everyday. She always encouraged me whenever I lost heart. She helped me to have confidence in myself. She gave me what I needed, courage, confidence, good ways to learn
English and opportunities to speak English in class. So I was grateful for her. Maybe I can’t meet her again. The only thing I can give her is my best wishes. I wish my dear teacher happiness, good health and good luck. And I also want to say to her: Thank you, Ms. Li. I love you!
3.Please Think A Minute
Hello! Everyone. My name is＿＿＿, from Class ＿ Grade 7. Today, my topic is＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿．
Please think a minute! I heard a funny true story about this guy who goes to the gym to exercise and work out each week. He takes 20 minutes to change his clothes. Then he walks around the gym talking with different people.
After that, he reads the newspaper. Finally, he does a few stretches and 5 minutes of exercises. Then he takes a hot steam bath before going home. So in the whole 2 hours he’s at the gym, he only spends 5 minutes exercising! One day, someone heard this man says: “I don’t understand it. I go the gym almost everyday, but I never seem to lose weight.” But every body at the gym knows why, because they see this guy there doing everything except the main thing exercise!
You see, it’s important that we keep the main thing. And if you want to be successful in your job, business, or managing your family, or your studies. Whatever we do, we must get the main thing done. Instead of wasting our time, and energy doing things that aren’t important. Because it is easy to get side-tracked doing other things that might be easier or more fun to do.

What success means to me?
Once upon a time, an old rich woman left all her property to the person who could answer her question correctly. Her question was this “what is the most important thing for a person who wants to succeed?” To my surprise, the answer was not money, not power, not even opportunity, but “ambition”.
Why is ambition so important? A person without ambition is like a near-sighted lion. All the things in the distance appear blurred. No matter how strong it is, it can’t go far.
A lion lives to rule the whole plain. A person must prove that “I am a king here”, at least you are the king of yourself.
Nowadays, the world is very competitive. Even if you get to the top of your own field, there might be still someone better than you. So we have to ask ourselves: what is the proof of success? I believe it is doing something for this world.
Remember: As a successful person, in addition to ambition, the other key you must hold is love. When you look back at history, you’ll find you were standing on the shoulders of the giants. You have enjoyed what they had left you. So we should live to work for the improvement of the world. From president to citizen, we should all take part in building a new WWW for which I have my own explanation ----it is “of the world, by the world, for the world”. 5. Making our earth more beautiful

So we have to face more and more floods and droughts . It's time that we must do something useful to protect our environment. We can plant

Man’s life is a process of growing up, actually I’m standing here is a growth. If a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then I grow up along with these choices. Once I hope I can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, as you know I come here, now I wonder what the future holds for (= what will happen to) me. When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, all starts here. Today I am going to tell you a story called “Two heads are better than one”. I am sure you can learn something from it. One day, an elephant met a monkey. “Look, how big and strong I am!” the elephant said. “I can break a tree, can you break a tree?” “Look, how quickly I can run and climb!” said the monkey. “Can you climb a tree?”
The elephant was very proud because he was so strong, and the monkey was also proud because he was so quick. But which is better, to be strong or to be quick? They didn’t know.

“How can I tell you which is better?” answered the rabbit. “You, elephant, you, monkey, you couldn’t get the apples without anyone. Everybody has his own good points. But two heads are better than one.”

Hello, I’m from Class Grade 7, Do you know the story 《The cat and his oilcake 》?
There is a little cat. He is very very lazy. He can’t wash his face or eat by himself. The mother cat says: “My son, You are old enough to learn some skills.” But he says: “I can’t. I’m still young.”
One day, his mother has to go out. And she won’t be back until the next day, So the little cat is at home alone（单独）. What can it do? He can do nothing. The mother cat thinks hard and gets a good idea. She makes a very big oilcake for her son. Then she hangs (挂)it around his neck for him to eat . Then mother leaves. The little cat sleeps very soon. And he begins to snore(打鼾).
A mouse comes out and wants to find some food. suddenly he hears the snores. He looks up and finds the sleeping cat. He is very afraid. He is going to run away when(这时) suddenly he smells the delicious oilcake. “How sweet it smells!” the mouse says to himself. And he wants to eat it very much. Then he goes up to the cat quietly. The little cat opens his eyes for a while. He see something walking to him. It has a pointed（尖的）mouth, small ears and silver（银色的） hairs and a long tail（尾巴）. The cat asks: “Who are you?” The mouse is very frightened at first, but then he closes his eyes quickly and thinks: “The other cats are busy catching us. But this one is just sleeping. What a lazy and foolish（笨的）cat! Now I’ll play a trick on him: “ I … I … I’m your good friend. I come to catch mice together with you.” The little cat turns over and says: “I can’t do that. I just want to sleep.” Then he closes his eyes and sleeps again. The mouse is surprised and happy. He begins to enjoy the oilcake on the cat’s neck. After eating, he can’t help singing: “I’m lucky and meet a lazy cat, Oh what a lucky day!” The cat sleeps till at last he wakes up. Now he is hungry and he wants to eat the oilcake. But there is not any oilcake any more, but he is so hungry. So he cries: “Mum…, mum …”.
Just then, mother cat comes home. She sees the cat crying and asks: “My child, why are you crying?”
“I’m hungry!”
Mum says: “ You have eaten the big oilcake, you can’t be so hungry.”
“I didn’t eat it and I can’t find it now.”
“But who comes here?” Mum asks.
The little cat remembers and says: “ A little thing does, It has pointed mouth, small ears, silver hairs and a long tail. He says he is my good friend.”
Mum says : “How foolish you are! That is a mouse. The oilcake must have been eaten by him. You don’t learn anything. Now you must try to learn hard.”
After that, the little cat isn’t lazy any more. He learns to catch mice with his mum every day. And he catches the mouse who stole his oilcake.
