1st Hello everybody . My topic today is my favorite first, let me show you some picture, and can you guess who it is that I will introduce 2nd As you can see there are two the first is Apple I and the nest is Apple be you will guess it should be Steve the truth is,the man I will introduce is –Stephen Gray as “Woz”. 3rd here is a brief introduction about him. He is an American inventor ,electronics engineer ,and computer programmer who cofounded Apple Computer with Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne .Wozniak single-handedly designed both the Apple I and Apple II computer in the late computer contributed significantly to the microcomputer revolution. 4st Woz was born in San Jose ,California ,The name on Wozniak’ birth certificate is “Stephan Gary Wozniak” ,but Steve’s mother said that she intended it to be spelled “Stephen”, and “Steve” is what he uses. Wozniak has been referred to frequently by the nickname "Woz", "The Wonderful Wizard of Woz", or "The Woz".; "WoZ" (short for "") is also the name of a company Wozniak founded. In the early 1970s Wozniak was also known as "Berkeley Blue" in the community. 5st Here is a picture of Woz when he was eleven years old. As we can learn that Woz start learn electronics very young. In his Autobiography >,he said” These early works really contribute to hone my patience, from third grade to eighth grade I did most projects, I learned more and more, many times I do not refer to any book to know how to connect electronic devices.” 6nd In a XX interview with ABC News, Wozniak recounted how and when he first met Steve Jobs. He said: "We first met in 1971 during my college years, while he was in high school. A friend said, 'you should meet Steve Jobs, because he likes electronics and he also plays pranks.' So he introduced us."And from the photo we can see that Jobs and Woz have a really close friendship. Here is a small story about their early start. In 1973, company Atari paid Jobs several thousand dollars because Jobs and Woz’s Jobs told Wozniak that Atari gave them only $700 and that Wozniak's share was thus $350. Wozniak did not learn about the actual bonus until ten years later, but said that if Jobs had told him about it and had said he needed the money, Wozniak would have given it to him. 7st In 1976, Wozniak developed the computer that eventually made him famous. He alone designed the hardware, circuit board designs, and operating system for the Apple I. Jobs had the idea to sell the Apple I as a fully assembled printed circuit board. Wozniak, at first skeptical, was later convinced by Jobs that even if they were not successful they could at least say to their grandkids they had had their own company. The funny thing is that Apple I sold for $ Wozniak later said he had no idea about the relation between the number and the mark of the beast, and "I came up with [it] because I like repeating digits." 8nd Wozniak lives in Los Gatos, California. He is a Freemason, despite not having faith in a supreme being (which is required by Masonic rules). Wozniak describes his impetus for joining the Freemasons as being able to spend more time with his wife at the time. 9nd Wozniak was married to Candice Clark from June 1981 to 1987. They have three children together, the youngest being born after their divorce was finalized. After a high-profile relationship with actress Kathy Griffin, Wozniak married Janet Hill, his current spouse.[[ 10nd This is Woz’s I searched a Abbreviated introduction of his book. As the sole inventor of the Apple I and II computers, Wozniak has enjoyed wealth, fame, and the most coveted awards an engineer can receive, and he tells his story here for the first time. 篇二:介绍名人传记的三分钟英语演讲稿 三分钟英语励志演讲稿 演讲稿一:三分钟英语励志演讲稿 good afternoon ,ladies and gentlemen! im very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! to begin with ,i want to ask a question .does everybody dream a good dream last night actually ,today i want to talk about dream with you. of course, what i want to talk is not a dream you have last night, but a dream—— about life. everyone has dreams about life, different dreams at different life stage, and we need dreams to support us. dreams are like the stars we never reach in the sky,but like most mariners(海员),we can chart our course by them. with the dream,we have a direction, with a direction, we were no longer the dream, there is hope, with hope, we have the strength to fight. my breath swallows the sky and make the yellow river overflow, my sword is famous in kyushu and it can collapse the five sacred mountains. at some time in the past i also had am bitious words and i had some achievements. each achievement results from my hard work. i always believe that if you want to have more achievements than others, you must work fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. so my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today. lets--- move ----out! thank you for your listening!演讲稿二:三分钟英语励志演讲稿——catch the star catch the star that holds your destiny, the one that forever twinkles w ithin your heart. accept the fact that not ev eryone is going to approve of the choices youve made. have faith in your judgment. catch the star that twinkles in your heart and it will lead you t o your destinys your capabilities and talents for they are what make you truly unique. the greatest gifts in life are not purchased, but acquired through hard work and determination. 演讲稿三:三分钟英语励志演讲稿——we are the world ,we are the future someone said we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite. i dont know who wrote these words, but ive always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. we are all in the position of the farmers. if we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. if we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all. we are young. how to spend the youth it is a meaningful question. to answer it, first i have to ask what do you understand by the word youth youth is not a time of life, its a state of mind. its not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. its the matter of the will. its the freshness of the deep spring of poet said to see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. several days ago, i had a chance to listen to a lecture. i learnt a lot there. id like to share it with all of you. lets show our right palms. we can see three lines that show how our and life is. i have a short line of life. what about yours i wondered whether we could see our future in this way. well, lets make a fist. where is our future where is our love, career, and life tell , it is in our hands. it is held in all want the future to be better than the past. but the future can go better itself. dont cry because it is over, smile because it happened. from the past, weve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. weve learnt that we cant choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. failure doesnt mean you dont have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way. failure doesnt mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder. as what i said at the beginning, we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite. the past has gone. nothing we do will change it. but the future is in front of us. believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us. and from today on, lets be the owners of ourselves, and speak out we are the world, we are the future.篇二:三分钟英语演讲稿good morning everybody, i’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. we all know that bingxin has a famous saying “we always admire the beauty of flowers but its sprout was watered by tears of struggle and rained by blood of sacrifice”. so for the majority, behind their success, are filled of sweat and tears. eagle flying in the vast firmament, must be experienced the pain of countless times fall under the cliff, then hammered out a pair of volley wings. a shinning of pearls, inevitably suffered countless body friction and numerous waves’ shock. in this view, a real successful people, and he must experienced numerous times to stand up again and agin after failed, because without sweat and tears on the life road ,no one can casually get the beautiful flowers. alfter a heavy fall shi tiesheng lost his legs, it must be a heavy blow for anyone. but he didnt lose faith in life, but use his brain and hands to show the infinite love of life; beethoven was blind and deaf, but he still had written the hero destiny and so on a large number of music works, in his unfortunately life, he doggedly gripped the fate of the throat. they all had a fall, but they are strong enough to stand up, fight against fate and misfortune, finally they succeed. so for each of us, wrestling is not terrible, lose confidence and courage in life is the most terribe thing. in my opionion, the sweat and tears during the life’ journey are very important for us, they hone our will, and eich our experience. as the saying goes, how can you see the rainbow without a rainy day, while you dont work hard and not struggle, how can you gain the successful flowers. all in all, the sweat and tears on the struggling road is inevitable, don’t look for shortcuts anymore, steadfast walk every step, we will succeed in the end. so belief yourself, nothing is impossile, just do it. thank you for taking your time to listen to my speech, i hope in the near future we all can be successful.篇三:三分钟英语演讲稿3分钟英语演讲稿(一) what is nature its everything that exists in the world independently of people, such as pants and animals, earth and rocks, and the more and more people are focusing on the nature. it is no doubt that the nature is important to every human being. no nature, no of the supplies of the nature, we have lived happily for a long we started to gain every thing available from the this lasted so long a , people have discovered that the nature around is getting worse and is threatening the nature air and water pollution, over harvesting of plant and animal species, overpopulation and so on. overpopulation is the biggest source of pollution. lets take overpopulation as an does overpopulation feel like when we move slowly through the city in a taxi. when we enter a crowded slum district. when the temperature is high and when the air is thick with dust and smoke. the streets are crowded with people. the streets seem alive with people. people eating. people washing. people talking. people visiting each other, arguing and screaming. people relieving pushing their hands through the taxi windows, leading animals. people, people, people, we drive slowly through the crowd, sounding the taxis horn, the dust, heat, noise and cooking fires made it like a scene from hell! i admit, the nature, overpopulation is a big problem. more people, more the big population is threatening the nature every rapid rise in world population is not creating problems only for the developing countries. the whole world faces the problem that raw materials are being used up at an increasing rate and food production can not keep up with the population in rich countries make the heaviest demands on the worlds resources, its food, fuel and land, and cause the most baby born in the united states will use in his lifetime 30 times more of the worlds resources than a baby born in india. unless all the countries of the world take united action to deal with the population explosion there will be more and more people fighting for a share of less and less land, food and fuel, and the future will bring poverty, misery and war to us most of the developing countries, it is a good idea to control the population growth. 3分钟英语演讲稿(二) good morning/evening/afternoon, ladies and gentlemen : today, my speech is about talents,in my opionion, talents are indispensable in nowadays society. as is known to all that the fight i’d like to start with a group of pictures. modern and advanced this society forgets, and ignores the other two thirds of human beings. its far from the ideal! we call ideal as a utopian, a place where reality does not exist. a few people still look forward to the ideals. we make fun of them, considering they are naive. will we still be content to live in such a society, if misfortune drops to us no! of cause not!when we feel the warmth of the sun, these people, endure great sorrows and pains. can we imagine that they are our brother and sisters! facing them, will we still have the mood humanity, shouldnt feel ashamed our luxury deprived their lives, our indifference violated our soul, and our barbarity destroyed human civilization! whats the ideal society its a society no one worries about their living, a society no one is refused from education, a society everyone can pursue his/her own happiness! the ideal society is filled with love, joy and kindness. in that society, we can touch the others hearts, we can share our dreams and most important, we can just be the true men! lets break the ethnic divide, bridge the gap between rich and poor, hand in hand, to build a great wall, protecting us from evil; to construct a steady bridge, connecting reality to the ideal society! lets pursue for that, thats the only way to the bright future! they are watching us! thank you!smoking is a greater cause of death and disability than any single disease, says the world health organisation. according to their figures, it is responsible for approximately five million text of earl spencers tribute to his sister at her funeral. there is some very deep, powerful and heartfelt sentiment. would that those at whom it is aimed would take heed. the versions posted on several news services had minor errors. this is precisely as it was deliverd. i stand before you today the representative of a family in grief, in a country in mourning before a world in shock. we are all united not only in our desire to pay our respects to diana but rather in our need to do so. for such was her extraordinary appeal that the tens of millions of people taking part in this service all over the world via television and radio who never actually met her, feel that they, too, lost someone close to them in the early hours of sunday morning. it is a more remarkable tribute to diana than i can ever hope to offer her today. today is our chance to say thank you for the way you brightened our lives, even though god granted you but half a life. we will all feel cheated, always, that you were taken from us so young and yet we must learn to be grateful that you came along at all. only now you are gone do we truly appreciate what we are now without and we want you to know that life without you is very, very difficult. we have all despaired at our loss over the past week and only the strength of the message you gave us through your years of giving has afforded us the strength to move forward. there is a temptation to rush to canonize your memory. there is no need to do so. you stand tall enough as a human being of unique qualities not to need to be seen as a saint. indeed to sanctify your memory would be to miss out on the very core of your being, your wonderfully mischievous sense of humor with the laugh that bent you double, your joy for life transmitted wherever you took your smile, and the sparkle in those unforgettable eyes, your boundless energy which you could barely your greatest gift was your intuition, and it was a gift you used wisely. this is what underpinned all your wonderful attributes. and if we look to analyze what it was about you that had such a wide appeal, we find it in your instinctive feel for what was really important in all our lives. without your god-given sensitivity, we would be immersed in greater ignorance at the anguish of aids and hiv sufferers, the plight of the homeless, the isolation of lepers, the random destruction of land mines. diana explained to me once that it was her innermost feelings of suffering that made it possible for her to connect with her constituency of the rejected. the world sensed this part of her character and cherished her for her vulnerability, whilst admiring her for her honesty. the last time i saw diana was on july the first, her birthday, in london, when typically she was not taking time to celebrate her special day with friends but was guest of honor at a fund-raising charity evening. she sparkled of course, but i would rather cherish the days i spent with her in march when she came to visit me and my children in our home in south africa. i am proud of the fact that apart from when she was on public display meeting president mandela, we managed to contrive to stop the ever-present paparazzi from getting a single picture of her. that meant a lot to her. these were days i will always treasure. it was as if wed been transported back to our childhood, when we spent such an enormous amount of time together, the two youngest in the she hadnt changed at all from the big sister who mothered me as a baby, fought with me at school and endured those long train journeys between our parents homes with me at weekends. it is a tribute to her level-headedness and strength that despite the most bizarre life imaginable after her childhood, she remained intact, true to herself. there is no doubt that she was looking for a new direction in her life at this time. she talked endlessly of getting away from england, mainly because of the treatment she received at the hands of the newspapers. i dont think she ever understood why her genuinely good intentions were sneered at by the media, why there appeared to be a permanent quest on their behalf to bring her down. it is baffling. my own, and only, explanation is that genuine goodness is threatening to those at the opposite end of the moral spectrum. it is a point to remember that of all the ironies about diana, perhaps the greatest was this; that a girl given the name of the ancient goddess of hunting was, in the end, the most hunted person of the modern age. she would want us today to pledge ourselves to protecting her beloved boys william and harry from a similar fate. and i do this here, diana, on your behalf. we will not allow them to suffer the anguish that used regularly to drive you to tearful that, on behalf of your mother and sisters, i pledge that we, your blood family, will do all we can to continue the imaginative and loving way in which you were steering these two exceptional young men, so that their souls are not simply immersed by duty and tradition but can sing openly as you planned. we fully respect the heritage into which they have both been born, and will always respect and encourage them in their royal role. but we, like you, recognize the need for them to experience as many different aspects of life as possible, to arm them spiritually and emotionally for the years ahead. i know you would have expected nothing less from us. william and harry, we all care desperately for you today. we are all chewed up with sadness at the loss of a woman who wasnt even our mother. how great your suffering is we cannot even would like to end by thanking god for the small mercies he has shown us at this dreadful time; for taking diana at her most beautiful and radiant and when she had joy in her private ,every body !thank you .thank you ,every body!all right, every body go ahead and have a is everybody doing todayi am here with students at wakefield higt we have students tuning in from all across america, from kindergraten through 12th i am just so glad that all could in our country started to play a game called cuju, which is regarded as the origin of ancient football. the game was so popular that women were alsoparticipating. now, you would probably understand why our womens football team does so welltoday. there are a lot more wonderful and exciting hundred years ago, amazed by hisincredible description of a far away land of great beauty, people asked marco polo whether hisstories about china were true. and marco answered: what i have told you was not even half ofwhat i saw. actually, what we have shown you here today is only a fraction of the beijing thatawaits you. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary。 2. How's the water” And the two young fish swim on for a bit, and then eventually one of them looks over at the other and goes, “What the hell is water”... simple awareness; awareness of what is so real and essential, so hidden in plain sight all around us, all the time, that we have to keep reminding ourselves over and over:“This is water。”“This is water。”It is unimaginably hard to do this, to stay conscious and alive in the adult world day in and day out。 3. Now he said, “Michael, I'm just calling to congratulate you on the success of Batman. I always said you were a visionary。” You see the point here — don't believe them when they tell you how bad you are or how terrible your ideas are, but also, don't believe them when they tell you how wonderful you are and how great your ideas are. Just believe in yourself and you'll do just fine. And, oh yes, don't then forget to market yourself and your ideas. Use both sides of your must have a high threshold for frustration. We had to be sure that we didn't beat ourselves. And that’s what people have to do, too — make sure they don't beat themselves.... you'll find out that nothing that comes easy is worth a dime. As a matter of fact, I never saw a football player make a tackle with a smile on his face. Never。 5. All over the world she was a symbol of selfless humanity. All over the world, a standard bearer for the right of the truly downtrodden, a very British girl who transcend nationality, someone with a natural nobility who was classless. This is the text of Earl Spencer's tribute to his sister at her funeral. Diana was the very essence of compassion, of duty, of style, of beauty. All over the world she was a symbol of selfless humanity, a standard-bearer for the rights of the truly downtrodden, a very British girl who transcended nationality, someone with a natural nobility who was classless, who proved in the last year that she needed no royal title to continue to generate her particular brand of magic. Today is our chance to say "thank you" for the way you brightened our lives, even though God granted you but half a life. Indeed to sanctify your memory would be to miss out on the very core of your being, your wonderfully mischievous sense of humor with the laugh that bent you double, your joy for life transmitted wherever you took your smile, and the sparkle in those unforgettable eyes, your boundless energy which you could barely contain. But your greatest gift was your intuition, and it was a gift you used wisely. And here we come to another truth about her. For all the status, the glamour, the applause, Diana remained throughout a very insecure person at heart, almost childlike in her desire to do good for others so she could release herself from deep feelings of unworthiness of which her eating disorders were merely a symptom. It was as if we'd been transported back to our childhood, when we spent such an enormous amount of time together, the two youngest in the family. Fundamentally she hadn't changed at all from the big sister who mothered me as a baby, fought with me at school and endured those long train journeys between our parents' homes with me at weekends. I don't think she ever understood why her genuinely good intentions were sneered at by the media, why there appeared to be a permanent quest on their behalf to bring her down. We will not allow them to suffer the anguish that used regularly to drive you to tearful despair. Beyond that, on behalf of your mother and sisters, I pledge that we, your blood family, will do all we can to continue the imaginative and loving way in which you were steering these two exceptional young men, so that their souls are not simply immersed by duty and tradition but can sing openly as you planned. We are all chewed up with sadness at the loss of a woman who wasn't even our mother. How great your suffering is we cannot even imagine. I would like to end by thanking God for the small mercies he has shown us at this dreadful time; for taking Diana at her most beautiful and radiant and when she had joy in her private life. Above all, we give thanks for the life of a woman I am so proud to be able to call my sister: the unique the complex, the extraordinary and irreplaceable Diana, whose beauty, both internal and external, will never be extinguished from our minds. Mr. President, Ladies and Gentlemen,Good afternoon! Before I introduce our cultural programs, only tell you one thing first about XX. You're going tohave a great time in Beijing. Many people are fascinated by Chins's sport legends in the history. For example, back to SongDynasty, which was the 11th century, people in our country started to play a game called Cuju, which is regarded as the origin of ancient football. The game was so popular that women were alsoparticipating. Now, you would probably understand why our women's football team does so welltoday. There are a lot more wonderful and exciting events waiting for you in the New Beijing, a modernmetropolis with 3,000 years of cultural treasures woven into the urban tapestry. Weseek to create an intellectual and sporting legacy by broadening the understanding of the OlympicIdeals throughout the country. Cultural events will unfold each year, from XX to XX. We will stage multi-disciplined culturalprograms, indluding concerts, exhibitions, art competitions and camps which will in volve youngpeople from around the world. During the Olympics, these activites will also be held in the OlympicVillage and in the city for the benefit of the athletes. Our Ceremonies will give China's greatest-and the world's greatest artists a chance to celebrate thecommon aspiration of humanity and unique heritage of chinese culture and that of the OlympicMovement. With a concept inspired by the famed Silk Road, our Torch Relay will break new ground, travelingfrom Olympia through some of the oldest civilizations known to man-Greek, Roman, Egyptian,Byzantine, Mesopotamian, Persian, Arabian, Indian and Chinese. Carrying the message "Share thePeace, Share the Olympics," the eternal flame will reach new heights as it crosses the Himalayasover the world's highest summit - Mount Qomolangma, which is known to many of you as In China, the torch will pass through Tibet, cross Yangtze and Yellow Rivers, travel theGreat Wall and visit Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and 56 ethnic communities who make up oursociety. On its journey, the flame will be seen by and inspire more human beings than any previousrelay. I am afraid I can not give you the full picture of our cultural programs within such a short period oftime. Before I end, let me share with you one story. Seven hundred years ago, amazed by hisincredible description of a far away land of great beauty, people asked Marco Polo whether hisstories about China were true. And Marco answered: What I have told you was not even half ofwhat I saw. Actually, what we have shown you here today is only a fraction of the Beijing thatawaits you. I believe Beijing will prove to be a land of wonders to all of you, to athletes, spectators, and world-wide television audience alike. Come and join us. Thank you, Mr president. Thank you all. Now I'dlike to give the floor back to Mr. He. Steve Jobs 史蒂芬·乔布斯CEO of Apple Computers 苹果电脑CEO Stanford University 斯坦福大学June 12, XX XX年6月12日Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart. Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Earl Bakken 厄尔·巴肯Businessman 商人University of Hawaii 夏威夷大学May 16, XX XX年5月16日By all reckoning, the bumblebee is aerodynamically unsound and shouldn't be able to fly. Yet, the little bee gets those wings going like a turbo-jet and flies to every plant its chubby little body can land on to collect all the nectar it can hold. Bumblebees are the most persistent creatures. They don't know they can't fly, so they just keep buzzing around. Never give in to pessimism. Don't know that you can't fly, and you will soar like an eagle. Don't end up regretting what you did not do because you were too lazy or too frightened to soar. Be a bumblebee! And soar to the heavens. You can do it。 Do one thing at a time. Give each experience all your attention. Try to resist being distracted by other sights and sounds, other thoughts and tasks, and when it is, guide your mind back to what you're doing. I'm not warning against learning many things on many subjects. My warning is against distraction, whether you invite it or just let it happen. In baseball, high-percentage hitters know better: it's “focus” they talk about, and they prize it as much as strength. Psychologists describe skilled rock climbers and tennis players and pianists as going beyond focus, to what they have called a “flow” experience, a sense of absorption with the rock or the ball or the music in which the “me versus it” disappears and there's a kind of oneness with the task that brings a joyful higher awareness, as well as successful performance. I've had these experiences, too little but not too late, and probably you have, too. They are a supreme kind of pleasure. You will have more of them if you do one thing at a time。 I worked for a guy named Jack Welch for twenty years at GE. He was, and is, a great mentor as much as a great leader. If I had to isolate the subject he spoke most passionately to me about, over all those years, it is that SELF CONFIDENCE is the most important, the indispensable characteristic of success, the common characteristic shared by great leaders whose talents may have varied widely in most other respects. So, how do you get it What is the secret to developing your own brand of self-confidence First, you must resolve to grow intellectually, morally, technically, and professionally every day through your entire work and family life. You need to ask yourself every day: Am I really up to speed or falling behind Am I still learning Or am I just doing the same stuff on a different day or as Otis Redding sings, “Sitting on the dock of the bay... watching the tide roll away” The lust for learning is age-independent. Another important way to build your confidence is to seek out the toughest jobs, the most daunting scientific, engineering or management challenges。 University of Texas at Austin 得克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校May 19, XX XX年5月19日There are times when you are going to do well, and times when you're going to fail. But neither the doing well, nor the failure is the measure of success. The measure of success is what you think about what you've done. Let me put that another way: The way to be happy is to like yourself and the way to like yourself is to do only things that make you proud. There's that old joke, not very funny, that goes, “No matter where you go, there you are。” That's true. The person who you're with most in life is yourself and if you don't like yourself you're always with somebody you don't like。 Hello, every body !thank you .thank you ,every body! All right, every body go ahead and have a is everybody doing todayi am here with students at wakefield higt we have students tuning in from all across america, from kindergraten through 12th I am just so glad that all could join us today .and I want to thank wakefield for being such an outstanding host .give yourselves a big round of appluse.
