Hello everyone. My name is Alec. I’m so glad to be here. My topic is my
holiday.
Today is my holiday. I ask my mum, 〝Can we go to Baiyun Mountain with Dad?〞
〝Good idea,〞 says mum. We pack some water and snacks, and then we drive there.
There are two ways to the top of the mountain. We choose the steeper one because
we want a challenge. The scenery is very beautiful. There are trees and flowers
everywhere. We see a beehive with bees busy working. We meet a lot of people on
the way. Some of them are singing, some of them are dancing, and some of them
are playing with their family.
When we climb halfway up the mountain, it is getting steeper and steeper.
We are bathed in sweat. Mum and I are tired to walk. Dad says, 〝keep on going.
Where there is a will there is a way.〞 At last we climb to the summit. We are
very happy though we arevery tired. From the peak of Baiyun Mountain we can see
the whole city of Guangzhou. It is so beautiful. We sit down, rela_, and enjoy
our snacks.
I wish I could have more time like this to rela_ with my family.

On summer vacation, I went to Hainan with my family. We went to Hainan by
plane and I can t believe it only took us four hours to get there. On the frist
day, we went to beach. It was a sunny day. My brother swam in the sea ,but my
sister preferred to surf with my mother. I dived with my father .I saw many fish
and some pink coral which wasvery funny. Ne_t day, we went to a big garden .In
that park I saw many tropical plants, like coconut trees. They re all very tall
.Some plants have big leaves, but some plants don t have any or their leaves
were small. We drank some cocoa in the park .It was amazing!On the last day ,we
came back. We had a good time!

In the two months summer vacation, I happy like a bird. Just have a
holiday, I went back to their hometown and good friends to play for a few days,

been learning and happy, fantasy, one day I also can play a song on the stage,
won the audience s applause. Learning the guitar is writing homework, some
students go out to play, practice, watch TV, go to the library to borrow books,

For a time, I a person at home is boring, just help my mother do some
housework, night, just hanging my mother taught me to cook. Mother said that I
am a spare not birds .

helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside, where I saw

neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed interest in English. They
could read write wellthey could hardly understand simple English. So every day
in the morning I spent about two hours helping them improve their listening

I m going to do what I want to do. I m going to study harder in order to get
good grades in the following term. After finishing all my homework, I m going to

keep fit at the same time. I ll get up eary in the morning everyday and play
sports. I really love sports. Besides that, Eating a balanced diet is also good
for my health. I m going to help my mom and dad with the housework as well in
the vacation.I ll learn to cook. As for travelling, I m planning to go to
Hainan. But whether going there or not will be decided on the weather.During the
vacation,I m going to learn more about history,as I m really poor on it.
So you see, I ll have a terrific vacation!
My winter holiday was very interesting.As that day i got back to my native
hometown,cousins and cousines took me to ski.My skiing skill isn t good,got down
for _ times,they laughed at me behind,i can t help smiling, too.The day of
Spring Festival was the most happiness day,we had meal for the first,a table of
delicious food,that made me so glad.Then we played the fireworks.The childrens
waving the lightening ticket while watching the adults playing the
fireworks.That was so beautiful!Like the stars rainning down the world.At the
end,it was time to get the red bag.we were very e_citing,and
satisfied.Sometimes,we also went shopping and bought something we like. Winter
holiday life was really wonderful!
